Artist's Statement
"It
seems all of us have something to say we consider worthy of the
attention of others (consider the growing number of personal websites and blogs
these days). And this is certainly true of artists. We, as professional
artists, attempt to make a living expressing our opinions, whether with
words, music, paint, bronze or other medium.
"Of course, we
usually talk about only what really interests us on a very personal
level - things with which we feel an emotional connection, things we
believe should be shared with others who might have the same interests.
"That’s really why I paint
- just to share my reactions to the visible world with others who might
feel the same way I do. In so doing, maybe my work can resonate
with someone's experience and brighten
his or her life just a little."
