Plein Air Texas 2008 |
The
Outdoor Painters Society’s 3rd annual plein air painting event
was exhibited at Southwest Gallery in Dallas, Tx from
April 19 to May 16.
Working with sponsors and supporters, the
Outdoor Painters Society has developed Plein Air Texas into the
premier outdoor painting event in the south central United
States.
This year's event
included painting locations at Fredericksburg, San Antonio
and Big Bend National Park.
Plein Air Texas concluded with a quick draw event at the
Dallas Heritage Village on Saturday morning followed by the
artist's reception and exhibition opening at Southwest
Gallery. Monetary and merchandise awards from our generous
sponsors were announced at the show.
